【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheperformancerequirementsandtestmethodsdesignedtoensurethesatisfactoryperformanceoftheportablehook-onchair.1.2Thisspecificationisintendedtominimizeinjuriestochildrenresultingfromnormaluseandreasonablyforeseeablemisuseorabuseofchairs.1.3Forthepurposesofthisspecificationachairis:1.3.1Aseatmadefortheexpresspurposeofseatingandholdingachildwhocanremaininasittingpositionduetohisorherowncoordination.1.3.2Usuallyaleglessseatconstructedtolocatetheoccupantatatableinsuchapositionandelevationsothatthesurfaceofthetablecanbeusedasthefeedingsurfacefortheoccupant.1.3.3Supportedsolelybythetableonwhichitismounted.Thesechairsareintendedforusebychildrenbetweentheagesofsixmonthsandthreeyearsandwhoweighnomorethan37lb(16.8kg)(95thpercentilemaleatthreeyears).1.4Nochairproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyspecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallapplicablerequirementscontainedherein.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainstothetestmethodsportiononly,Section7,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
