【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestotheBASICSAFETYandESSENTIALPERFORMANCEofHEATINGDEVICESusingBLANKETS,PADSorMATTRESSESinmedicaluse,alsoreferredtoasMEEQUIPMENT.HEATINGDEVICESintendedtoprewarmabedareincludedinthescopeofthisInternationalStandard.IfaclauseorsubclauseisspecificallyintendedtobeapplicabletoMEEQUIPMENTonly,ortoMESYSTEMSonly,thetitleandcontentofthatclauseorsubclausewillsayso.Ifthatisnotthecase,theclauseorsubclauseappliesbothtoMEEQUIPMENTandtoMESYSTEMS,asrelevant.IfaclauseorsubclauseisspecificallyintendedtoapplytoaspecificallydefinedtypeofMEEQUIPMENT,asisthecasewithFORCEDAIRDEVICES,thentheclauseorsubclauseisentitledassuch.ClausesorsubclausesthatapplytoalltypesofMEEQUIPMENTwithinthescopeofthisstandardarenotspecificallyentitled.HAZARDSinherentintheintendedphysiologicalfunctionofMEEQUIPMENTorMESYSTEMSwithinthescopeofthisstandardarenotcoveredbyspecificrequirementsinthisstandardexceptin7.2.13and8.4.1ofthegeneralstandard.
