【摘要】:Themethodsoutlinedinthisguidecanbeusedtoqualitativelyandquantitativelydescribethesensorycharacteristicsandperformanceoftriggerhardsurfacehouseholdcleaningproductsfornonporoussurfaces.Themethodsaresuitedfordescriptiveanalysisandmaybeadaptableforconsumeracceptanceresearch.Thisguideprovidestheprocedurefortheevaluationofpackage,application,performance,after-useandfragranceaspectsofhardsurfacecleaners.Dependingonthetestobjectives,allorsomeofthesemeasuresmaybeused.Thisguide,asdefinedbyASTM,isdesignedforuseforproductresearchguidanceinproductformulation,newproductdevelopment,andqualitycontrolissues.Thisguideisacompendiumofinformationorseriesofoptionsthatdoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisguideisnotintendedforclaimsubstantiation,asithasnotbeensubjectedtovalidationtesting.Thisguideisforusebyindividualswhofamiliarizethemselveswiththeseproceduresandwhohavepreviousexperiencewithsensoryevaluations.Itissuggestedthattheindividualshavesomeexperiencewithdevelopingandtrainingadescriptivepanelorworkunderthesupervisionofasensoryprofessionalwhohas.Thisguidemightinvolvehazardousmaterials.Thisguidedoesnotclaimtoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisguidetoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthypracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityoflimitationspriortouse.1.1Thisguidepresentsguidelinesspecifictothesensoryevaluationoftriggerhardsurfacecleaners.Itcoverstheprocedureforpreparinganonporoussurfacewiththeintenttomeasureoneorallofthevariousaspectsofatriggerproduct:package,application,performance,andafter-useproperties,withfocusonvisual,tactile,fragrance,performance,andpackageergonomics.Itisapplicableforusewithassessors,highlytrainedassessors,andconsumers.1.2Thisguideforpreparingnonporoushardsurfacesisintendedtofocusonsurfacepreparationandevaluation,notonpanelselection,training,ordevelopment.1.3Thereadershouldbeawarethatgoodsensorypracticesarerequiredwhenpreparingthesurfaces,andindevelopingandtrainingtheassessors.1.4Theresearcherisresponsibleforidentifyingthemostappropriatetestdesignandusingtheappropriatestatisticaltooltoaddressthatexperimentaldesign.1.5Sincethisguide''sintendeduseistoprovidedirectiononthepresentationandmeasurementofthedifferentaspectsofspraytriggerhardsurfacecleaners,thisguidemaynotaccuratelyrepresentallpossiblesoilsandsurfaceswherespraytriggerhardsurfacecleanersmaybeused.1.6Thisguideprovidessuggestedproceduresandisnotmeanttoexcludealternateproceduresthatmaybeeffectivelyusedtoprovidethesameresults.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
