【摘要】:Thisisafire-test-responsestandard.Thistestmethodisintendedtoevaluate,underspecifiedfire-exposureconditions,thecontributiontoroomfiregrowthprovidedbywallorceilingmaterialsandassemblies,orboth.Themethodisnotintendedtoevaluatethefireenduranceofassembliesorfiresoriginatinginthewallassembly.Themethodprovidesameanstoevaluatetheeffectivenessofthermalbarriersinrestrictingthecontributionofcombustiblematerialsinthewallassemblytofiregrowthinaroomfire.Thistestmethod,simulatingafireinthecornerofa2420by3630mm(8by12ft)roomcontainingasingleopendoorway,providesameanstoevaluatetherelativeperformanceofspecifiedwallandceilingmaterialsorassemblieswhentheyareusedtogetherinthesamerelationshipwithinanenclosure,andsimulatingthemannerinwhichtheywillbeused.Thistestmethodisintendedtoevaluatethecontributiontofiregrowthprovidedbyasurfaceproductusingaspecifiedignitionsource.Itshall,however,benotedthatthetype,positionandheatoutputoftheignitionsourcewillconsiderablyinfluencefiregrowth.Thethermalexposureconditionsfromtheignitionsourcespecifiedinthismethodwillresultinflashoverduringthe20mindurationformanycommonfinishmaterials,inparticularifspecimensaremountedonthewallsandtheceiling(standardconfiguration).Thistestmethodprovidesameansforevaluatingwallandceilingfinishmaterialsandassemblies,includingpanels,tiles,boards,sprayedorbrushedcoatings,etc.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoevaluateflooringmaterialsorfurnishings.ThismethodshallbeusedinconjunctionwithGuideE603,whichcoversinstrumentationandthegeneraleffectofvariousparameters,andGuideE2067,whichdealswithfull-scaleoxygenconsumptioncalorimetry.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thetextofthisstandardreferencesnotesandfootnoteswhichprovideexplanatoryinformation.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseinfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthestandard.Thisstandardisusedtomeasureanddescribetheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfire-hazardorfire-riskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
